Calcedonio is a Murano glass color. This glass, with multicolored , opaque veins, is optained by adding in the crucible a pigmented mixture based on different oxides ( copper, cobalt…ecc) and metallic silver. The mixture is blended with the molten mass giving a vibrant, unique, multicolored effect. This tipe of glass started in Murano in the 16-17 Century.
